Capsule Group started with a simple insight: a traditional hotel room duplicates a thousand times what could be shared. Our answer: the capsule — dense in comfort, with its own screen, outlets, lighting and ventilation — and real living spaces (shared kitchen, lounge, bathrooms) made better because they're shared.
Inspired by Tokyo capsule hotels, we adapted the concept for Montreal — wider capsules, careful design, superior soundproofing. Capsule Hôtel opened on Saint-Laurent in 2019, followed by Capsule Residence on Bishop, with Capsule + at the Old Port arriving in 2026.
Travel downtown shouldn't be a luxury. The capsule makes Montreal accessible.
Soundproofing, ventilation, mattress, sheets — the capsule is the hotel concentrated on what matters.
Beautiful, but useful. Every detail answers a real traveler's question.
Three neighborhoods, three moods. We don't replay the same experience three times.
"A capsule isn't less hotel. It's only the hotel."
